The JDL 4E-II Engineering Document Plotter is an E-size LED plotterthat provides fast, laser-quality output with a low cost-per-plot andhigh reliability. The 4E was designed with the performance andthroughput required for high-volume, networked environments.Features include:

An automatic stacking system that neatly stacks an entire roll of

finished drawings on a removable stacking bar, allowing for easy plotretrieval.

A plot ID stamp that automatically labels every plot with the current

date, time, and a 40-character user-defined ID for easy revision trackingor identification.

Standard X- and Y-cutters for trimming B- through E-size plots exactly

to size -- both vertically and horizontally.

An electronic collating function that collates and numbers multiple

sets of drawings -- for thousands of dollars less than mechanicalcollators.

Automatic interface recognition for use with a wide variety of

interfaces, including SCSI, parallel, serial, Ethernet, and VPI.

Automatic emulation recognition for switching between a variety of

data formats, including HP-GL, HP-GL/2, JDLPlot, JDL-RL, CALS-G4, CalComp906, Greensheet, GIF, and TIFF/G4.

Image control flexibility with automatic plot rotation and nesting,

mirror image, 99 copies, reduction and enlargement from 5 percent to 500percent, 96 line widths, and 20 shades of gray...all with 400 x 400 dpi,laser-quality resolution.

Direct plotter configuration using the full-featured hardware control

panel. Or, plotter configuration over a network is achieved via thesoftware screen-based panels, allowing users to remotely control mostplotter parameters without leaving their SPARC workstation.

Standard 42 MB RAM and a 170 MB hard disk. Additional 36 MB RAM is

optional.

Reliable LED technology that uses rolls or single sheets of plain

papers, vellums and films, ensuring availability of consumables with anoverall lower cost-of-ownership than other technologies. And it uses adry, monocomponent toner that's non-toxic and non-flammable, so you avoidthat inconvenience and added expense of hazardous waste disposal.
